Tuesday, December 3, 2002KoRn AddictionWell I finally got Issues today meaning I now have all five Korn albums plus I burned another CD of various crap I found on the net. I have even been checking out various fan sites. I bought the first system of a down album the other day, and I like it as much as the second album. I also got the sum 41 album which is almost as good as their first, plus they threw in a free DVD. We'll see. Tons to catch up on. Survivor Series was awesome really liked the Elimination Chamber match. UFC 40 was awesome, though my buddy is convinced that the whole thing is as fake as WWE after watching Tito thrash Shamrock half to death and they stop Matt Hughe's fight after one round for seemingly no damage. Heres my take on both in a nutshell. I still watch wrestling when I have a chance and I don't miss UFC for anything. I believe that WWE is slowly dying from its own greed. I think UFC is still going to be huge and is taking steps in the right direction. I was a little taken aback by Tito's comments of taking his fight with Liddell to Japan to get the money it was worth. Liddell looks tough as nails but I still think Tito will take him. As for Tank Abbott coming back I hope UFC doesn't put him in with someone who kills him so that they can make a good draw. Unfortunately Tank is exactly the type of fighter that the new UFC was supposed to leave behind. Now I did notice that Tank dropped a gang of weight but still dont imagine his fight style has changed. UFC dont sell out to the devil ruining a perfectly good sport to make a few bucks! Spent the holiday weekend with my family including my parents in Palm Springs. It was really nice. I have been on a music kick lately and bought System of a Downs self titled first album and their most recent album as well. I really like both. My addiction to Korn has gotten worse. I am also developing an interest in Taproot as well. Aslo got the new Sum 41 album which is also really good as well.
