Googple Maps for the iPhone
Well in one of those its about time moments I realized Google finally got the LA transit info in its directions. I'm a little twisted in the fact that I like mass transit just my obligations don't let me use it regularly. I took the trains to work for a year when I was the ride share coordinator at work and really liked the trip even though it was long. With the maps you type in the starting point and ending point and you can chose between driving, walking, and mass transit which means you have a crutch to get around with.

Los Angeles Out!
Well we got beat. Yeah thats basically what it amounts to. The Yankees and Phillies deserve to be in the World Series and thats the bottom line. Hopefully the McCourt divorce wont leave the Dodgers a complete mess. I honestly think the Dodgers are close but when Philly kicked your ass last year and went out and got the best available pitcher on the market we would all be crazy to believe that the outcome would be any different. Someone told me the definition of insanity was doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. I love the potential of pitchers Kershaw and Billingsley! That said Colletti has to go out and get a solid, experienced ace, and one big bat. Garland has that experience but I'm not sure if the juice is what it once was. I have a sneaky suspicion we have one last year of Torre before Donny Matt steps up into the managerial role. As for the Angels they are the Angels and have the greatest manager in baseball who in my opinion should have been the Dodger manager all these years but we've beat up that story already. Yankees, Phillies, good luck in the world series, you need to know you are the two teams I have always loved to hate but I love great baseball and I have no doubt you will have a great series!

Weekly? Update
Well I managed to score a ticket for tonights opening game of the NLCS where the Dodgers face their nemesis in the Phillies. Im truly thrilled with the Chasmpionship series' with Dodgers/Phillies and Yankees/Angels. Couldn't ask for better matchups or a stronger East West mix. Now all I need is a freeway series!

Facebook Down?
My horrible Facebook addiction is rearing its ugly head this morning as it seems the site is down this morning. Don't they understand I have crops to pick this morning and numerous posts to make about the Dodgers and Angels taking care of business yesterday. Show some mercy Facebook!

Cool Beans
So the Dodgers finally managed to wrap up the division and now face the daunting task of the St. Louis Cardinals starting Wednesday. Im thrilled the playoffs are ehr and looking forward to the excitement of the post season. In other exciting news Frosty, Heidi, and Frank are back on the air on KABC 790. I've been listening to them sice the Jamie Frosty and Frank on Star 98.7. Tried to pick up tix for the UFC on October 24th when Dana White twittered he was giving out tix in Culver City but just missed the line cut off. I snuck a picture of Dana anyways so I got soemthing for the trip.

Catching Up
Well its been a crazy past couple of weeks. I turned 40! Work has been very busy. The Dodgers cant seem to tie up their division and the Lakers are gearing up for another run at the Gold. Im going to the Dodgers game tomorrow and hopefully we'll get to see a much needed victory though honestly there is no team colder than the Dodgers and no team hotter than the Rockies. Im guessing my hopes of a freeway series for the world series arent as likely but hey theres always hope.
