He's got some collaborations inluding Andre 3000 and Kanye West but maintains his style. I also picked up Rodrigo and Gabriela Live in Japan which has some solid work on it as well. I honestly believe they should focus on live albums because their jam style plays out better as far as energy in a live setting. There are some repeats from their studio album but enough new stuff to make it worth your while as well. posted @ 09:37 PM PST [link] [Karma: 5 (+/-)] Sunday, October 26, 2008My new work phoneWell I got a new phone the Motorola Q9 and so far I am very impressed. The phone is solid doesn't hang nearly as much as the original Q. The form factor is nicer looking as well. So far I like it a lot. The one thing that still sucks is the mms service which doesn't work like it should. It plays in stages but hey so far its the only feature that isn't great and most mms is crap mail anyways. Bumming tonight as the damn Phillies keep winning. Spending my typical Sunday watching sports and then some Dexter and Californication to top the night off. posted @ 09:18 PM PST [link] [Karma: -9 (+/-)] Wednesday, October 22, 2008Red Box, Vending Machines, and other Rants....Hey there is nothing I like better than a good vending machine, heck I was all excited about the cool ATM's they have at BofA that you dont have to use an envelope to make a deposit and you can see a copy of the check on the receipt, but Red Box is definitely the future! Red Box is a dvd vending machine service that rents you a dvd at a dollar a day. You pick up the dvd at the vending machine and return it there as well and can even reserve movies online and pick them up at your location. It reminds me of the ipod vending machines that used to be at my local vons where you could by anything for an iPod including and iPod in it. Anyways I watched Iron Man (Very Good) and Dont Mess with Zohan (Very Bad). World Series starts tonight! It has to say a lot about George Bush that the man who was once his right hand man endorses the man running against his successor because he is too much like Bush. When the cards were stacked against them down 3-1 in the series and 7-0 in the game the BoSox came back to win it in the bottom of the 9th 8-7. I figured I would relax after the Dodgers locked up their trip to the NLCS by taking out the Cubs 3-0, but no then I had to watch the Phillies game today and found out who the Dodgers would be playing their old rival starting Thursday.
