It kind of makes me want to close up shop for a month and go see the country some. The phone is interesting as originally I was most excited about the extra storage and video capability but their seems to be extra perks as well. The added speed does seem to make applications run better which has been nice. It might be just my imagination but the newest member of the family feels slightly heavier in the hand which is actually a good thing as it has a more solid feel to me. All in all I'm glad I made the upgrade! posted @ 08:14 PM PST [link] [Karma: -12 (+/-)] Tuesday, August 4, 2009Kindle for iPhoneWell I have to admit I was mighty inftauated with the idea of getting a Kindle. Im not sure that i"m still not but after finding about the Kindle for iPhone App I am definitely not going to be in as big a hurry. The Kindel for iPhone app is exactly what it sounds. It allows you to read books on your iPhone purchased from the Kindle Store using the Whispersync. I already had an iPhone and amazon account so it was a really smooth process for me. I downloaded the app, logged in to it, hit the get books button, went to the kindle store link, told it to load to my iPhone and voila I was reading "The World is Flat" on my phone. The experience is simplistic. You turn the pages by flicking right and left and the reading experience is pretty comfortable though I am sure not as nice as on the kindle itself. The processes involved are really stupid friendly which I have always been a fan of. Its what made the iPod and iPhone great. If you are a reader like me check it out.
