"Every day we wait, California slides further into debt. Every dollar we save now helps us eliminate the deficit. We must prove to the world that there is a new day in Sacramento. Now."
As everyone knows the only thing more messed up than our current governor who hid a few billion in deficit to get himself reelected, is the process to get him out of office!

Britney and Madonna steal the show
Well the rumored surprise and then canceled and then surprise performance of Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears doing Madonnas like a virgin started off the VMA's with a bang. Britney apparently not to be upstaged by stories of Christina Aguilera making out with Pam Anderson shared a, as you can see, passionate kiss with Madonna to steal the show.

Magic Mountain
Took the family to Magic Mountain on Monday for a day of fun. I would more closely relate it to a good example of both heaven and hell in the same location. I mistakingly figured the park would be slow with it being a Monday but no such luck. what made matters worse was that Six Flags was running a promotion where you got a free ticket with a purchase so rather than having short ticket lines, they went on forever in 90 degree heat. Once we got inside someone stole my sunglasses which were hanging on my pocket, no biggy they were five bucks in Korea anyways. The rides were awesome but all of the popular coasters had two hour plus lines and because it was Monday Six Flags only opened one line on each ride rather than the possible two. Finally got a chance to ride Goliath which was a blast and a half. Also finally got to ride psyclone which I didn't like at all because it was really bumpy and threw you around alot. One interesting bit was the rides were either really crowded or not crowded at all. Psyclone and Ninja had no lines at all but the newer rides went on forever. All in all it was a good day and I think everyone had a good time. I was surprised to see how fearless my 7 year old was and was pleased to see that my 9 year old didn't have a problem with the tough rides either. Look forward to taking my girls to the park again when it isn't so crowded and hot. My wife was a real trooper even though she thought I was trying to kill her by dragging her on psyclone.
The other down note besides the glasses getting lost was that ny camera died as well so I didn't get as many photos as I would have liked. However I want to give Kudos to Best Buy who exchanged the broken camera out today with very few hoops for me to dive through so I am ready to take photos again.
I still haven't gotten a chance to play with my NetMD player yet but it is a cool device and comes with some pretty trick software. From what I have seen I am going to be a big fan of the Mini Disc format and look forward to getting some use out of the player. Anyways, til later! Ciao!

Pride FC Total Elimination 2003
Watched the most recent Pride FC Total Elimination 2003. It was a great ppv and once again Pride didn't disappoint and oddly either did the UFC. While it wasn't promoed as such there was a huge UFC presence at this event with Chuck Liddell, Ricco Rodriguez and Murillo Bustamante fighting. Got to wonder if Pride and UFC didn't finally decide it might be better to work together rather than against each other but judging from the judging probably not. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira got the nod against Ricco Rodriguez despite the fact that Ricco fought his fight and seemed to dominate though Minitauro did try several submissions to no avail. In the exact opposite decision Murillo Bustamante worked on Rampage Jackson all throughout their fight but Rampage Jackson got the nod for fighting his fight. All I can say is if you go into someone elses Federation you better knock their guy on his ass or you probably won't get the nod. This leads to Chuck Liddell who knocked out Alistair Overeem who had been talking major stuff about how he was going kill Chuck. Chuck put him out in decisive fashion in the first round. In other matches Wanderlei Silva probably pushed Kazushi Sakuraba into retirement by knocking him out and beating him a third straight time. Hidehiko Yoshida used his gi to choke out Kiyoshi Tamura after losing most of the match. Mirko Filipovic knocked out Igor Vovchanchyn in dramatic fashion making him a strong contender to face the champ soon. Speaking of the champ, Fedor Emelianenko knocked out Gary Goodridge showing that he still has what it takes to stand atop Pride.

Five time winners
5 times really is a charm in the tour de france. Here is a picture of what I think are the only five time winners of the tour. Now all they need is Booker T hollering five times, five times, five times!
