While I generally like Oakley's products they can be a little to industrial looking for me. Their iPhone case borders on that line but I picked one up today because it really does meet all the needs an iPhone case has.

Palm Pre coming to Verizon as well as AT&T
Well with the Palm Pre stealing the phone spotlight for the next week or so until it is released the big nes coming out today is that Verizon will also be selling the Pre in 6 months or so when the excluxivity agreement runs out with Sprint. So is AT&T but having already been exclusive with the iPhone they are probably not as excited as Verizon or Sprint. I was reading an article the other day that talked about the Pre being all that the iPhone wasn't. Originally during the design phase of the iPhone was suggested should have a QWERTY keyboard and runs on Linux, both features squashed by Jobs and carried to Palm by the Apple designer who transferred over to Sprint and carried his ideas with him.

Joseph Abboud Eyewear
Well I finally got around to getting some new eyeglasses, after traumatically losing the only pair I own on Saturday I got an emergency pair from Lensecrafters and a fancy pair from my eye doctor. My fancy pair is a set of Joseph Abboud JA142's pictured above. I like them a lot as they are very comfortable and light and dont have the kind of temples that go behind the ears but rather are more similar in design to sunglasses I have purchased with a straight temple. They weren't particularly pricey for that matter but they do have a refined look to them.

New Sidekick LX
Well I cant say their naming conventions make much sense but the new Sidekick LX is a pretty solid sounding phone. First off the Sidekick is doing for social websites what it had done for im and messaging before. The phone has 3G speed, GPS for navigation and it is rumored will feature exchange support. Add that to the cool Dodger skin and I might consider joining the family over at TMobile...

Tiger Woods PGA Tour for the iPhone
Well its no secret that I am a big fan of Tiger Woods and his game either. So when I heard they had released Tiger Woods PGA Tour for the iPhone I was a little worried but I needn't be. The game is great! I like the controls though I am still learning the finer points of aiming and such. Honestly the game feels a little easier on the phone but we'll see if that lasts for long.

UFC 2009 Undisputed
I have been playing the UFC 2009 Undisouted demo and this is going to be a strong game for any mma fan. It has all the elements with standup and ground fighting and doesn't seem to leave any method untouched. The controls feel pretty natural in their use and while you're limited to Liddell and Rua in the demo you definitely get the feeling this game is a blast. The game is due out on May 19th.

Dodger Blues might be Dodger Depression
Well as you could see I was on cloud 9 on tuesday as the Dodgers tied the major league record for best opening start at home. Today came news that Manny was busted trying to wake up his nuts from past steroid abuse and was busted taking the female hormone HCG and got 50 games off unpaid for good measure. I honestly believe the Dodgers are still a solid team without Manny and surprisingly wasn't panicked today. Then when the Dodgers came out to a fast 6-0 lead tonight I felt fairly comfortable things would continue and the team wasn't too struck by the Manny news today. Then the bullpen let a 6 run 8th become a 10-6 game. Now I knew they wouldn't stay undefeated at home forever but this was outright ugly tonight...

The Dodgers
When I bought my mini plan this year I just hoped the Dodgers would sign Manny. Who'd have thought not only have I watched them get off to the hottest start I'm National League history but Ive seen O'dog hit for the cycle and last night saw a rare triple play! What a way to start a year!

Im an OnDemand Convert
Hey I've been a DirecTV pundit for years and years. But now by fate I was forced to move over to cable when I bought my house. To my surprise after griping for close to a month I am starting to come around. I love how Time Warners On Demand service is put together. I have been able to go back and watch past episodes of series I had missed, something I used to have to do with iTunes. Basically they put most of the popular series up. I almost dont need the DVR anymore...

Dodgers seem on a roll again
Hey the boys in blue keep playing solid ball as the offense seems capable of carrying the pitching staff through most of its woes. James McDonald had a rough outing as he couldn't seem to find the zone but even though the Dodgers fought from behind most of the night they were able to pull out the 8-5 victory.
I finally got to sit in my seats last night, actually I could of the past Sunday but the sun was glaring so the entire top deck was hedged into the shade. I like my seats, I was able too see the entire field and since I am at the bottom of the top deck it doesn't seem too high up. It was cool because the people next to me and behind me are on the same plan and all seem to be really cool.
