Graduation at last!
Me and Mimi at my graduation. I'm sure my parents are hollering finally. The ceremony was interesting as Shaq showed up as they were going to hand out the degrees. I think he was there because the speaker was the guy who owns the Staples Center and Home Depot Stadium which they built at my school.

The new manager and network admin started at the job. They seem cool enough . Im working on getting them acustomed to the mess we call work. They seem to be adjusting well so far, which means they haven't run off screaming so far.

Work gave me an award for surviving the month I was on my own. It was nice to be recognised by the hospital. Looking forward to taking the family to Magic Mountain soon enough.

Pride Fighting for PS2
Myself as a pride fighter! Might sound like a fantasy, and really it is. However, I was able to create an ideal yet close facsimile of myself in the game with plenty more brawn and far less fat. It really is amazing what you can do in this game. Compared to UFC Throwdown it is habds down the better game. For most MMA fans fighting in Pride is a dream which seems a hair closer with this game. I am looking forward for the new UFC game though to ses how it will compare to the Pride version. Heres another shot of my character fighting. And finally here is my last shot of my dream self.

Mighty Ducks and Playstation 2 PrideFC Game
Well how bout those ducks? One has to wonder if Disney is purposely writing scripts or if it is just the year for Anaheim. Makes one wonder if the Clippers are going to try and move to the pond now and try to get some of the Karma to rub off. Shame about the Lakers losing but it would have been a farce to the regular season if they had won it all again. Should be interesting to see who they get at power forward next season.

Finally bought a PlayStation 2 yesterday and I have been playing the PrideFC game on it. The game is pretty realistic but seems to lack something. A career mode would be cool. The game has a tournament, single match, survival series where you see how many of the legends you can get through, and create a fighter mode. I liked creating a fighter but all of the particulars involved seem to take so long. Im already looking for a new game.

Out Sick?
Hung Chow calls in to work and says, "Hey, boss I not come work today,I really sick. I got headache,
stomach ache and my legs hurt. I not come work." The boss says, "You know Hung Chow, I really
need you today. When I feel like this I go to my wife and tell her to give me all the sex I need.
That makes everything better and I can go to work. You should try that." Two hours later Hung Chow
calls again: "Boss, I do what you say and I feel great. I be at work soon. You got nice house."

Sherdog.com - The best getting even better
I pretty much think I was clear about stating that Sherdog.com was my favorite MMA website as you could look up any figther in the world there and see who he had fought and his record and so forth. Sherdog updates automatically and almost instantaneously after a fight. Now they have taken this huge database of information and turned it into statistical ratings of fighters by unfathomable different categories. There are the Power Ratings which statistically tell you who the best fighters are based on outcome and quality of opponent. There are also fight statistics which give you win-loss stats, ko-tko stats, submission wins, etc. All told it makes the authority in MMA just that much better than the competition in my mind. Check it out if love MMA.

Updating at last
Well it has been really hectic for me lately and I haven't had a chance to reflect for much miore than a few seconds. Work has been really hectic as I have been trying to run a three person department on my own for the last few weeks. I have been doing twelve hour shifts ad extra work on the weekends which has been exhausting but alast there is light at the end of the tunnel as my new boss starts on Monday and the Network Admin starts on Tuesday so I just have to get through another week and things will get better.

My daughters first communion was Saturday and we had a big party afterwards at my parents house. It was a lot of added stress leading up to the day but everything worked out in the end and we had a good time. My wifes birthday was Sunday and we had lots of family over at the house to celebrate and see her parents who are staying with us for a couple of months from Guatemala.

My graduation is next week so I Imagine things will be hectic again but I keep trying to convince my wife not to do anything as it just causes added stress around the house. I hope to get working on getting my MCSA certification shortly, though I am thinking about taking a break after the stress of the past month but maybe with the reduced workload I will have nore energy to study.

The Lizzie McGuire Movie
Well I did my paternal duty and went and saw Lizzie Mcguire the movie with the kids tonight. I hate to admit but I enjoy the TV show as well but don't tell anyone. The movie was actually entertaining and I enjoyed it alot. The movie was pretty much the same cast as the show minus Miranda and the regular teacher. Apparently the crew is going to have a new principal in High School if the movie fits in with the storyline of the show.

One has to wonder though when Hillary Duff is going to outgrow this show as it seems with a music career in the works she might be heading in that direction.

The Disney channel is turning into one big huge money tree for Disney as it pulls together the entire under thirteen crowd. With Radio Disney and The movies they are generating they seem to have successfully expanded their market to the preteen market from the little ones.
