Paleo Diet
I was reading up on the Paleo Diet which is also known as the Caveman diet. Essentially the theory behind this diet is that we should only eat whayt we did when we were hunter gatherers. Here is the simple breakdown:

The essentials of the Paleolithic Diet are:

Eat none of the following:

· Grains- including bread, pasta, noodles
· Beans- including string beans, kidney beans, lentils, peanuts, snow-peas and peas
· Potatoes
· Dairy products
· Sugar
· Salt

Eat the following:

· Meat, chicken and fish
· Eggs
· Fruit
· Vegetables (especially root vegetables, but definitely not including potatoes or sweet potatoes)
· Nuts, eg. walnuts, brazil nuts, macadamia, almond. Do not eat peanuts (a bean) or cashews (a family of their own)
· Berries- strawberries, blueberries, raspberries etc.

Try to increase your intake of:

· Root vegetables- carrots, turnips, parsnips, rutabagas, Swedes
· Organ meats- liver and kidneys (I accept that many people find these unpalatable and won’t eat them)

Expect some minor tuning problems- don’t worry, you can deal with them:

· It will take some time for your body to adjust to the changes after all these years. There is a huge surge in your vitamin intake. There is a huge decrease in your toxin intake.

Hooverball
It seems I have been finding a plethora of new stuff to run my mouth, or blog about lately. The latest of interesting things is HooverBall. Never heard of it? Either had I. It is essentially Tennis Rules, Volleyball Court, played with a four or six pound medicine ball. Just looking at it it has to be fun and a great workout. Apparently it was inv inted by President Hoover's, thus the name, to help president Hoover stay in shape.

Crossfit
Wow I was checking out Krean Jiu Jitsu a long time ago and stumbed across Crossfit.com and thought wow I want to try this. Of course being the slacker I am I lost the site info. Well now I have it back and figured I would post about it to keep from losing it again. From the website "Crossfit is a core strength and conditioning program. It is not a specialized fitness program but a deliberate attempt to optimise physical competence in each of ten recognized fitness domains. They are Cardiovascular and Respiratory Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy. For an awesome explanation of the program and how it is different Click Here!

Quikdrop
I was surfing the web checking out these new auction drop off stores and fell upon QuickDrop.com. Now I was thinking as I saw the ooportunity that this would be an easy business to open and and get going when I saw the QuikDropFranchise.com website. For $15,000.00 plus a $1995.00 one could have a franchise. Not bad in todays age. Hmmmmm!

I saw this mini in Dub magazine and just thought what a paradox. The smallest car with the biggest rims. Looks nice though!

Wow what a night!
Picture014 (48k image)
Well I really have killed two birds with one stone with this picture. One Im in the box at Staples and two I have a picture of my newly bald head. We had an awesome time at Staples. We spent the first half of the game watching from the restaurant and then went to our seats for the second half when my buddy from work had us come up to the luxury box he was in where we stayed for the second half. It was a blast even though the Clippers got slaughtered.

UFC 47
Well once again UFC put on a wonderful show. In the first match of the night Genki Sudo defeated Mike Brown by armbar in the first round. I cant help but really like Genki Sudo, I mean the guy walks in has a brawl and then sports a peace sign. The guy is a lil out there but is very entertaining and I hope will get a shot at the UFC lightweight title some day he deserves it. In the second match Mike Kyle defeated Wes Sims by KO but there was some controversy as Kyle had obviously bit Sims. Sims despite his lunacy and inabillity to win is growing on me for his entertainment value. Nick Diaz defeated Robbie Lawler by KO in an awesome fight where these two stood toe to toe the whole fight. Diaz whose known as aground man took it to Lawler on his feet and KO'd him. Lawler who has been a UFC posterboy really is exciting but needs to get himself back on track. If he had won this fight he probably would have had dibbs on BJ Penn. Andrei Arlovski defeated Wes 'Cabbage' Correira by TKO in another typical Arlovski battle where he just kills his opponent. I wish they would just give Arlovski the title and get it over with already. As for Tim Sylvia I think he should be banned from the UFC. The idiot gets caught doping for a second time, at least this time it was before the fight and shot all the things that made people respect him for after the first incident want to kill him this time. In a fight that could have gone either way Yves Edwards defeated Hermes Franca by split decision. This was an awesome fight as Franca really held his own with a man I thought should have killed him. Franca has a lot of heart and gumption and I think he deserved the nod in this though he didn't get it. Chris Lytle defeated Tiki Ghosn by choke in a entertaining battle. Unfortunately for Tiki just doesn't look like the UFC is his game. All of his four losses have been his four UFC matches. And finally in the headliner Chuck Liddel did as he said and knocked Tito Ortiz out cold in the second round. Tito also did part of what he said and stood in front of Chuck which led to the lethal end. Guess we should look forward to Chuck vrs Vitor in the near future for the title.

Baldilocks and Headblade
Well I finally did it. I shaved my head bald. Why, Dont know. Always wanted to I guess. I have always wanted to bic it but my wife was, and still is, very much against it. Apparently it reminds her of the millitary back in Guatemala. Anyways I used the headblade which i reccomend for anyone planning on maintaining the old bald look. Anyways not sure how long I'll sport the bald look but I have it out of my system now.
