The console looks to be the size of a smaller modem and has wireless connectivity to four remote controls and four bluetooth headsets. Certainly not from Microsoft who seems to create more work for me each time they upgrade their stuff but I drift. Basically Apple has once again taken the majority of iPhone users concerned and addressed them. They have added MMS functionality, enabled developers to create apps that use core location for turn by turn directions, stereo bluetooth, developed cut/copy/paste, and will be adding notifications for programs like aim. Much like the iPhone 3G addressed all the issues I had with the original iPhone I think the 3.0 OS is going to address what functionality I want but don't have on my iPhone now! The granite tile counter top is in the process of being installed. My paint is done in my eyes though not my mom's, and she has a much better eye for such things and all of her help probably qualifies her for sainthood. I bought the transition pieces that go over the flooring between rooms but was too tired to install them tonight. The gas company comes out tomorrow and hopefully they turn on the gas, we had a leak that I had to have repaired and you have no idea how nice it would be to have some less than frigid water in this place as handwasjing is almost painful. My search for a dog continues to be futile, probably for the better right now but it still annoys me. I am still holding out hope of starting to move this weekend but maybe that isn't realistic. Wish me luck the ride has been bumpy but we are still pointed in the right direction! Some cool news this week is that Apple is working on OS 3.0 which is rumored to include MMS and tethering support, lets hope those fancy notifications are lumped in there too. Im sure the rumor mill will be in high gear shortly especially after the sneak peak next week. Google has revived Grand Central it's unifed messaging tool rebranding it as Google Voice which is good news for those of us not quick enough to get on the Grand Central bandwagon while they were still giving out numbers. UFC 98 was a great show despite suspicions it woouldn't be a good card. We are trying to dress it up some before we move in i.e. putting in a kitchen, painting, and installing hardwood floors. The floors are finally done and look nice. Almost all of the painting is done. Hopefully the kitchen will be done before the weekend and then the fmily can start moving over. I have been staying here at the house since last Tuesday to make sure all the materials/appliances dont walk off. Hopefully the gas gets turned on tomorrow so I can deal with less than frigid water. I have been keeping an eye out for a dog to adopt and have my eye on a pup from the local pound. Oddly the dog was named by the pound Mimi so I wonder if it wasnt some kind of fate. Watched Rampage fight on Saturday and was impressed by his win over Jardine in what turned out to be a great fight... Im glad the Dodgers managed to finally get Manny signed which makes my mini plan a lot more attractive. I got two seats on the top deck but hey I get to go to 15 games thi year. The Dodgers llok like they will be interesting at the least now though I worry about their pitching rotation...
